Sleepbreeze working with Surrey Science Technology and Engineering Regional Organisation
Sleepbreeze Ltd is proud to have been invited to attend the Festival of Science and Engineering organised by Surrey Science Technology and Engineering Regional Organisation (SATRO).
The festival, on Thursday the 25th of June 2009, is to be at Brooklands museum and Sleepbreeze will be found in the "Working World Marquee".
Commenting on the exhibition Sleepbreeze's Managing Director, Andy Buxton said: "Today's school children are the scientists and engineers of tomorrow who will have huge challenges to face, ranging from climate change to pandemics....
Encouraging young people to seek a career in science or engineering is fundamental to the future prosperity of our country. We are delighted to be able to show them how a career in science can lead to new product innovations and how to bring new products to the market. We very much hope that they will get a sense of how exciting and worthwhile this can be."

Notes:
The Surrey Festival of Science and Engineering aims to offer school teams the best possible opportunity to show to our guests from education, industry, commerce and professional bodies, the high quality of the science and engineering projects. Projects must have been devised and built during the current school year and come from Year 9 science clubs, GCSE, GNVQ, Diploma, AS, A2 or other areas of work.
Sleepbreeze Ltd was founded by former UK defence scientist, Andy Buxton. Andy's expertise was in microclimate cooling - a technique used to provide low energy cooling for soldiers and fast-jet pilots. Sleepbreeze produces a small microclimate cooling product for those seeking to sleep in hot climates. Sleepbreeze's product has been displayed at The Pentagon in Washington and is on sale to the public through Sleepbreeze's online shop.
